GOP Obamacare Alternate

By In Blogs

The Hill reports:

Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) on Thursday predicted that House Republicans would unveil — and possibly vote on — a plan to replace the healthcare law in 2014, fulfilling a long-delayed promise to voters.

An alternative to ObamaCare will be “one of the big issues” the House GOP will discuss at its annual policy retreat at the end of the month, Boehner said.

“Repeal and replace” is what is going on here.  And such is to be expected from the big government GOP.  The proponent of limited government would “repeal and repeal.”  By that I mean that he would not only replace Obamacare with nothing at all, but he would also seek the elimination of all other health care laws that are currently messing up the free market system.
