Climate Change is about National Security

By In Blogs, Mitchell Thompson

New York Times:

The accelerating rate of climate change poses a severe risk to national security and acts as a catalyst for global political conflict, a report published Tuesday by a leading government-funded military research organization concluded.

Ah, there it is. “National Security” is the phrase adopted when the public ain’t buyin’ the alleged need for Federal Government intervention.  It had to come eventually. The risk of climate change is a sham, a scam.  Therefore it threats national security.  There are real problems in this world. Like unemployment caused by the lack of capital in our economy caused by the Federal Reserve’s destructive monetary manipulations.  But those issues are real, hence why they aren’t slammed in our faces with bullhorns.

But climate change! If you’re not a True Believer, your a nutcase.  Also, you’re anti-national security.

Notice, dear citizen of the world, that the report was published “by a leading government-funded military research organization.”  This makes it Really Important.  How do you argue with an organization categorized as such? You might as well deny that we came from monkeys or some other True Fact like that.

In any case, the global elite have found the new Enemy of Humanity and unfortunately it isn’t the well-groomed hacks in DC.  I guess we shouldn’t be surprised. Another part of the article stated:

In addition, the report predicted that an increase in catastrophic weather events around the world will create more demand for American troops…

Seriously? By-golly-gee, I suppose the American troops would have otherwise been returned back home to the Motherland, but the doggone weather is preventing us from closing down the Empire.  It really is too bad.  A humble foreign policy was just around the corner.

The United States Government desires to rule the world, dominate every people group on the planet.  The Empire, by economic necessity, destroys the market which millions of people rely on.  Impoverishment is up, employment is down.  But at least we are declaring a War against Climate.

When it reigns it poors.

I was born and raised in Northern California where I was homeschooled. I became a Protestant (Calvinistic) seven years ago. I was also, starting in 2006, a Buchananite conservative until I met Ron Paul during the 2008 elections. From then on I read everything I could from the Mises Institute and am now satisfied as a Rothbardian libertarian. I am slowly becoming a more confessional Reformed Baptist. Hoping to get more and more involved on this site. My Twitter handle is @MitchRThompson. Cheers.

The climate change folks are dithering around, coming up with more and more dire predictions, because it’s plain the American people have recognized the whole agenda is a sham created by politicians for their own ends, not about any concern for the planet or its people. I first realized the political nature of the agenda when I learned that, AFTER scientists signed on to the report in 1996 by the IPCC, two sentences were removed from the final draft:

    1) “None of the studies cited above has shown clear evidence that we can attribute the observed climate changes to increases in greenhouse gases.”
    2) “No study to date has positively attributed all or part of the climate change to man–made causes”

Kinda shines the light on a purely political agenda.
