Austrian School Economist Hans Hermann-Hoppe makes his point clear: When it comes to economic debate, the approach of the free market advocates is antithetical to the Keynesian, or central planning advocates. The mindset, the method, and the analysis vastly differ. Therefore, the Austrian School should refrain from answering Keynesian technical babble. It would be completely un-Austrian. Rather, as Hoppe notes in the video below, the solution, when debating economist like Paul Krugman is to ask simple worded questions which are simply impossible to answer, given Krugman’s monetary theory.
For an example of such a question, watch the video -it is only about a minute.
